WHAT STUTTERING SPECIALISTS SAY
Clinicians, researchers and academics share their insights on Lexipontix Programme.
Dr. Joseph Agius
CESS, Author of iOS app "Fluency Smart Intervention Strategy"
Lexipontix offers a well-designed integration of structured intervention and child-friendly engagement, enhancing the therapeutic process for children who stutter. The character ‘Lexipontix’ serves as an effective pedagogical device, helping children build self-efficacy through clear, accessible analogies. The programme’s activities are systematically organised, engaging, and developmentally appropriate. Overall, Lexipontix is a valuable and effective resource for clinical work with children who stutter.
Dr. Katarzyna Węsierska
ASS. PROFESSOR UNIVERCITY OF SILESIA, ASHA FELLOW
A key feature of the Lexipontix programme is its friendly, story-based format, which enables therapy to be implemented engagingly and enjoyably. This approach enhances the motivation and active participation of young people who stutter, making therapy practical and appealing. An integral component of the programme is a multidimensional assessment that enables the speech-language therapist to tailor therapy according to clients' individual needs and to maximize the use of their own and their environment's resources.
Katerina Ntourou
Ass. Professor at the Case Western Reserve University, US
Lexipontix is a rare intervention approach for school-age children who stutter that keeps the focus where it belongs, not on "fixing speech" but on empowering children and families to achieve real communicative success and confidence. Children and parents develop a more open, desensitized stance toward stuttering, a clearer understanding of their strengths and readiness for meaningful, sustainable change. As a clinician and researcher, Lexipontix is a program I trust and wholeheartedly recommend for clinicians supporting school-age children who stutter and their families.
Ilias Spyridis
Speech & Language Therapist, Certified European Stuttering Specialist (CESS)
A well-structured program for school-aged children who stutter. Lexipontix provides a holistic approach, focusing not only on the child's speech but also on the emotional and cognitive aspects of stuttering and therefore the overall experience of stuttering. Taken together, Lexipontix supports the "alliance" in moving towards their desired goal. The training felt clear and accessible and the instructors enabled a better understanding of stuttering therapy in a simple and meaningful way.
Georgina Stamelou
Speech & Language Therapist, Certified European Stuttering Specialist (CESS)
The Lexipontix training, although delivered asynchronously, was a highly engaging experience. The presenters demonstrate deep expertise in stuttering and guide participants through carefully designed levels of training, enabling them to develop their own clinical understanding. Through both the training and the practical application, Lexipontix introduced me to a contemporary, meaningful and genuinely alliance-based therapeutic approach.
